The project aims to re-interpret the local flora from the perspective of artistic, scientific and popular knowledge through the collection of plants. Metaphorically it creates a map of links between inhabitants and landscape, addressing memory from the natural elements that consolidate territory.

The project began in 2013 within the ethno-educational framework of the Fundación Cerezales Antonino y Cinia (León), a rural historical context of the Spanish countryside. Through field trips and workshops we began the herbarium in collaboration with the inhabitants of Cerezales del Condado and other nearby villages. Since 2016 the environment of the Roman village of Veranes in the outskirts of the city of Gijón, is also field of study of the project (FMCYUP, Gijón).
